In a candid discussion on her new podcast, Hey Girl, with co-host Liz Jackson, Eve didn’t mince words, describing the concept of “kugongewa”—revenge intimacy after infidelity—as “disgusting” and “dirty.”

“Stop Boasting About Sleeping Around!”

In a world where social media seems to glorify “living wild,” Eve has a different message: she’s not impressed. “I don’t get how people, especially women, can boast about sleeping with multiple partners,” Eve declared, adding, “It’s not an achievement, and it’s definitely not something to be proud of.”

For Eve, the idea of bragging about “hookup culture” on platforms like TikTok is unsettling, especially when it’s painted as some kind of social trophy. “Is it really an achievement?” she asked, genuinely baffled. “I find it weird, especially for women. It’s not just dirty—it’s unhygienic!”

Eve’s Take on Relationships: One Partner at a Time

Eve clarified that she’s always been a one-partner woman, choosing monogamy over bouncing from one relationship to another. “I love being in a relationship. I don’t believe in juggling partners. I prefer being with one person at a time, instead of sleeping around,” she said firmly.

Eve explained that “kugongewa”—a form of revenge cheating—sends the wrong message, especially to younger generations who look up to influencers on social media. She added, “Glorifying this lifestyle is not just gross—it’s irresponsible.”

Eve Opens Up on Her Split from Director Trevor

The topic of relationships hit close to home for Eve, who recently went through a high-profile breakup with Director Trevor, her former partner in both business and love. The couple met in 2020 and quickly became a dynamic duo, but things changed in February when Trevor announced their breakup and severed ties with Eve professionally, rebranding their popular YouTube channel from “Mungai Eve” to “Kenya Online Media.”

Eve shared her thoughts on the breakup during an interview with Andrew Kibe earlier this year. “I don’t want to dive too deep, but let’s just say there were a lot of reasons. I saw it coming,” she admitted.

When Kibe pushed her, jokingly suspecting she was the one who cheated, Eve playfully left the question open. “You might be wrong or right,” she responded with a coy smile.

Director Trevor was quick to act after the split, stating publicly that Eve was “no longer part of the production crew.” The sudden rebranding of their YouTube channel caught fans off guard, but both seem determined to move forward on separate paths.
