Anerlisa Muigai Explains the Mystery Behind Nero Water’s Disappearance

Kenya’s luxury water queen, Anerlisa Muigai, has finally addressed the elephant in the room: What happened to her popular brand, Nero Water? Known for her glamorous lifestyle and business acumen, Anerlisa opened up in a candid video shared on her social media, revealing why Nero’s once sought-after water brands, Executive Still Water and Life Still Water, have been nearly invisible on the shelves lately.

"I Felt Stuck": Anerlisa’s Refreshing Honesty

In the video, Anerlisa, the 34-year-old daughter of Keroche Breweries CEO, admitted feeling “stuck” and unmotivated—leading her to hit the pause button on her beloved Nero Water brand. Despite founding the company in 2013 and building a name for herself in the luxury beverage market, she confessed that her passion had waned.

"So, guys have been asking what happened to Executive Water...well, it’s still on, but I put a pause on it," Anerlisa shared. "Sometimes you reach a point where you don’t feel motivated, you feel stuck. So I paused it to find something that would reignite my passion."

New Horizons: From Bottled Water to Career Consulting

As Anerlisa sought a fresh challenge, she turned her focus to a new project—a consultancy firm, Signer Travel. Excited about her latest venture, she revealed that Signer Travel has been a source of fulfillment, helping clients land jobs abroad and navigate their careers.

"I decided to do something I genuinely enjoy, like Signer Travel,” Anerlisa explained, “where I can advise, consult, and help people find jobs overseas with our recruiters. Right now, I’m loving it.

Anerlisa’s entrepreneurial pivot has sparked both surprise and curiosity, with fans wondering if this signals a permanent goodbye to Nero Water or just a break.

Water Business Revival? January Comeback Teased

For those who feared Nero Water had dried up for good, Anerlisa’s announcement had a glimmer of hope. She hinted that a revival could be on the horizon. “Come January, I might go back to the water business, but with Signer Travel growing, I’ll probably manage both.”

Anerlisa’s transparency about her career struggles and the decision to step back from Nero Water has been both relatable and refreshing. As one of Kenya’s youngest and most successful heiresses, her openness about business challenges highlights that even those at the top have their moments of self-reflection.

What’s Next for the Heiress of Nero Limited?

With her family’s legacy at Keroche Breweries and her own luxury brands, Anerlisa’s next move is anyone’s guess. Whether she returns to the water industry or focuses on her consultancy firm, it’s clear she’s not one to shy away from bold, new directions.

In her parting words, she thanked her supporters, saying, “Welcome to Signer Travel, and thank you for the support.” Looks like 2024 might just see Anerlisa doubling down on her passions—and taking fans along for the ride.

Stay tuned, Kenya! We’ll be watching what this heiress does next.
