Rihanna Admits She’d Be Clueless with a Baby Girl

Rihanna, the multi-talented singer, beauty mogul, and mother of two boys, is now considering adding a baby girl to her family—but she’s got one major reservation. "I want to have a girl, but I won’t know what to do because I only know about boys so far,” the Fenty x Savage founder revealed in an interview with Story Flani News. “But it'd be an adventure,” she added with her signature daring flair.

The 35-year-old “Lift Me Up” star shares two sons with award-winning rapper and partner A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers. While she may have her doubts about raising a girl, Rihanna's journey as a "boy mom" has been nothing short of thrilling.

Life with her boys, RZA and Riot, is more action-packed than a Hollywood thriller. Rihanna shared that her household is filled with the wild energy of her toddlers, with antics so chaotic they’re downright hilarious. “The boy energy in my house is the best,” she said. “It's never a dull moment. I love it when they’re literally so scary that I’m forced to have fun,” she laughed.

The superstar mom has embraced the chaos, admitting that instead of worrying, she’s learned to just go with the flow. “Them running around and me lifting them up is all fun and exercise. It works out for Rocky, me, and our kids,” she explained, crediting her toddlers’ antics as her daily workout routine.

A$AP Rocky and Riri’s Adventure into Parenthood

Rihanna and Rocky welcomed their first son, RZA Athelston Mayers, on May 13, 2022, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Just a year later, in August 2023, they added Riot Rose Mayers to their family, born at the same hospital as his big brother.

In the months before baby Riot’s arrival, Rihanna made headlines by stepping down as CEO of her multi-billion dollar brand, Savage X Fenty, to focus on her family. While she still holds the reins at Fenty Beauty, she announced she’d serve as Executive Chair of the lingerie brand. Clearly, family is front and center for this powerhouse mama.
